Window installation: acetate, acrylic paint, ink.

Response exhibited work from all of the second year fine art students from the University of Lincoln at St. Mary Le Wigford church, Lincoln. My site specific work, Unititled, was an installation in the church window, celebrating the stained glass work that already existed in the church. The diamond panes depict an abstracted image of the view outside the window – Lincoln’s high street. The work compares the original religious significance of the stained glass window against the importance of the high street and consumerism in the modern world.

 

This installation was also exhibited at Emerge exhibition: The Surface Gallery, Nottingham.
